It is designed for welding rutile and basic electrodes up to 4 mm of various types of steel (low carbon, low alloy, stainless, etc.) and cast iron. The spot welder is equipped with adjustable features: HOT START ARC FORCE ANTI STICK The Weldman ARC 212 spot welder has a digital welding current display equipped with a simple lamp system. LED diodes on the front panel indicate connection to the power supply (green diode) or disconnection due to overload (red diode). It combines the ease of controlling field-effect transistors with the high breakdown voltage and switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology significantly extends the reliable operation of welding equipment. OVERHEATING PROTECTION The power source is equipped with a thermal, automatic overload switch. If the welding machine temperature is too high, the protection will disconnect the welding current and the overheating indicator will illuminate. After the temperature drops, the overload switch will reset automatically. DUTY CYCLE The duty cycle is based on a 10-minute period. A 60% duty cycle means that after 6 minutes of operation, the equipment requires a 4-minute break. A 100% duty cycle means that the device can function continuously without breaks.HOT START FUNCTION The function is commonly known as hot start. It operates at the moment of arc ignition, causing a temporary increase in welding current above the value set by the welder. HOT START aims to prevent electrode sticking to the material and is a great help when igniting the arc. However, for welding small elements, it is recommended to disable this function, as it may cause material burn-out. ARC FORCE FUNCTION It allows adjusting the dynamics of the welding arc. Shortening the arc length is accompanied by an increase in welding current, which stabilizes the arc. Reducing the value gives a soft arc and shallower penetration. ANTI STICK FUNCTION The ANTI STICK function is a short-circuit protection that lowers the welding current in case the electrode sticks to the workpiece. It facilitates detachment and protects the device from damage. TIG DC LIFT Welding with a tungsten electrode in the shielding of neutral gases using a handle with a gas valve in the grip. The arc is ignited by rubbing, similar to the MMA method. COOLING The device is equipped with a fan cooling system, which significantly increases its efficiency.
