Akyga® AK-AD-12 adapter is used to transfer analog data from a device with DVI-I output to a device with VGA input. These connectors are still popular with older models of graphics cards and monitors. What is more, the adapter is unidirectional. That is, the data flow is one way, from the DVI-I connector to the VGA connector. Therefore the adapter is mainly suitable for transferring video signal from PC to monitor. For a more permanent connection of the adapter to the computer, a reliable screw fixing is used, which not only stabilises the adapter in the socket, but also protects against accidental disconnection of the adapter.
