The Cat.7 cable material for operating frequencies up to 600 MHz with total braided shielding and foil single-wire shielding (S/FTP) was developed for use in data centers, server rooms, rack mounting of network and control cabinets etc. for networks up to 10GBaseT. These cables are manufactured and tested according to the ISO/IEC 11801 specification. The cables are packaged individually in a polybag. The gold-plated contacts ensure reliable, corrosion-free connections over extensive periods of time.
