APPLICATION - a weighted blanket is used for proprioception disorders, which occur in people with autism, ADHD or sensory processing disorders. It is also often recommended for insomnia, depression, and anxiety disorders. The sensory blanket stimulates deep sensation, “calming” the nervous system.
